When you talk about traditional (jikiden) reiki, there always pops up the name of our beloved sensei Chiyoko Yamaguchi, direct reiki descendant and student of Dr. Hayashi sensei and the co-founder (together with her son Tadao Yamaguchi) of the Jikiden Reiki Kenkyukai in Kyoto.
Everybody who was lucky to have met her and studied with her described her as a lovely, warm hearted and also very open minded and curious lady. Looking at her pictures and her beautiful smile makes you feel directly loved and full of inner peace.
Thank you Chiyoko sensei for sharing your love for reiki with your son Tadao sensei and all of us.
Have a look at THIS LINK with lots of photos and personal comments about her.

I frequently get asked about things like that and am stunned sometimes, about the mis-concepts in and about Reiki.
Lots of this mistaken information is still from times, when we did hardly know anything about Usuis life and the Reiki history. Teacher, who studied Reiki and never updated their knowledge with new developments about the origins, give these ideas to their students, who give them to theirs and so on…. All in good faith, Continue reading QUESTIONS & DOUBTS
